Maui Family Grazing Co. was born from our love for ʻāina and our commitment to caring for the land we call home. We are a local family raising our keiki among goats, green pastures, and the rolling hills of Upcountry Maui — carrying forward the values of hard work, respect for nature, and the spirit of malama ʻāina.
What started as a small family project to clear overgrown pastures has grown into a mission to restore balance to Maui’s landscapes through regenerative hoof powered land management. Using goats for targeted grazing, we help reduce wildfire risk, control invasive brush, and encourage healthy native growth one hillside at a time.
In addition to grazing, our team practices responsible eradication of invasive species such as wild pigs and axis deer. We approach this work with deep respect for both the land and the animals ensuring that every effort contributes to restoring ecological balance, protecting watersheds, and supporting local food security.
At the heart of it all we are a family run operation. Every fence line, feeding, and field day is a team effort . It’s messy, rewarding, and deeply meaningful work that connects generations. From the ones before us who taught us these values to the ones coming up beside us now. Together, we are building something lasting. We take pride in securing a legacy of stewardship and self sufficiency, grounded in aloha and guided by kuleana.
For us this is more than a business — it’s our kuleana. To care for the ʻāina that raised us, and to ensure a thriving Maui for generations to come.

Born From Maui's Rich Paniolo Heritage, Maui Grazing Co. Honors The Traditions Of Those Who Came Before Us - The Ranchers, Ropers, And Caretakers Who Helped Shape The Way We Live And Work The Land. Our Ancestors Believed That Working The 'aina Was A Privilege And A Responsibility. Today, We Continue That Legacy By Combining Cultural Knowledge With Innovative Grazing Practices That Nurture The Land And Protect It For Generations To Come.
